Dr. Susan Markel is a Board Certified Pediatrician, skilled in all aspects of general pediatric care. Her professional experiences and accomplishments have enabled her to meet various challenges. She has been honored by becoming a Medical Advisor at Attachment Parenting International, a non-profit parenting organization promoting "Peaceful Parenting for a Peaceful World".

Dr. Markel's philosophy of natural parenting empowers mothers to trust in their maternal instincts, and consider themselves the "experts" in raising their own children. By espousing "mindful parenting", she has allowed mothers to acknowledge and celebrate the joy of parenting.
